The GR Granulator Series contains four oscillating granulators covering a full range of capacities from 30 kg an hour up to 300 kg an hour, making the series a complete solution for users ranging from small research teams all the way up to large commercial manufacturers. Each of the granulating machines provides a convenient and cost-effective way of turning powders into granules to use in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, ceramics or related industries. Suitable for dry granulation, these oscillating granulators can also be used for breaking down agglomerates into granules.
The GR Series consists of the GR60, GR90 and GR160, with the number denoting the diameter of the machine’s roller in mm. They each work on the same principle, involving an oscillating metal cylinder that acts against an easily changed metal mesh. With powerful motors, adjustable speed, and carefully engineered oscillation for maximum efficiency and minimum energy requirement, these machines produce granular materials of the highest quality and consistency. Popular choices for companies in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and ceramics industries, all the granulators in the series are built from stainless steel, and constructed to meet GMP standards. They are simple to operate and maintain, easy to clean, and designed to satisfy the stringent hygiene requirements needed for food production. They are also rugged and durable, with minimal maintenance needs, and will provide reliable operation for many years into the future.
The GR Granulators feature a highly effective oscillating mechanism that enables damp or dry materials to be granulated quickly and to a very high standard of consistency and homogeneity. This makes them ideal for use in demanding applications. Thanks to their stainless steel construction they also comply with the strict hygiene requirements for food processing. These machines are GMP compliant, and have been carefully designed from the outset to meet the need for an energy efficient, reliable solution with high working capacities and low maintenance.
The motors in this series range from 250 watts up to 2.2 kW, meaning that the GR series is a comprehensive solution that covers the granulating requirements of virtually any user. With adjustable speeds and easily changed meshes, the GR granulators can cope with a wide variety of raw materials.
The GR granulators are exceptionally easy to use and maintain. Simply add the powder or other raw materials to the hopper, switch on, and let the machine process the materials. Finished granules are deposited on a lift-out tray beneath the machine.
As well as medical and tabletting applications, these granulators are ideal for granulating the coagulated material formed during storage or chemical processing, processing porcelain or plastic mixtures into granules, processing candy and sugar mixtures, or for barley milk products.
As all relevant parts are stainless steel, the granulators are easy to clean, while maintenance is kept to a minimum by the thoughtful design and rugged construction.
